Monday 22nd September marked a very special occasion for Alsager Community Support (ACS) as we were delighted to welcome The High Sheriff of Cheshire, Joëlle Warren MBE DL, alongside representatives from Cheshire Community Foundation, Knutsford Together, and Health Shield Friendly Society Ltd.

The visit provided an opportunity for our guests to see first-hand the work ACS delivers within the local community, and to meet some of the dedicated volunteers who make our services possible.
Showcasing the Power of Local Support
Throughout the visit, our volunteers shared personal stories and insights into the difference their roles make to local residents. From providing practical advice and information to offering emotional support, our volunteers bring our mission to life every day through their compassion, commitment, and care.
Their enthusiasm and dedication were clear to see, and we were proud to demonstrate the positive impact that community-driven support can have when people come together with a shared purpose.
Recognition and Encouragement
We were honoured by the recognition and encouragement expressed by our visitors, who commended the strength of collaboration within Alsager and the difference being made through ACS. Moments like these reinforce the value of partnership working and the importance of continued investment in community-based initiatives.
Our Thanks
We extend our sincere thanks to The High Sheriff of Cheshire, Cheshire Community Foundation, Knutsford Together, and Health Shield Friendly Society Ltd for taking the time to visit and engage with our work.
Most importantly, we would like to express our deep gratitude to our volunteers. Their energy, compassion, and ongoing commitment remain at the very heart of everything we do.
Together, we are making a lasting difference - helping local people access the support they need and ensuring Alsager continues to be a strong, caring, and connected community.
