Why become a supporter?

For over 10 years, Alsager Community Support has been part of the fabric of local life. Our mission is simple: to make local lives better.

Every day, we’re here with a listening ear, practical advice, and a friendly face. For some, it’s a lifeline. For others, it’s a small act of kindness that makes all the difference.

None of this happens without people like you. Our volunteers and supporters are the reason we can keep showing up for the community. But as more people face loneliness, financial pressures, and everyday challenges, the need is growing.

By becoming a supporter, you’re not just helping us keep the doors open - you’re helping make sure no one has to face life’s struggles alone.

How you can help

We understand that not everyone has time to volunteer, but there are still lots of ways you can support ACS.

We’re a charity, and like any charity, we have everyday costs that aren’t always covered by grants. While we’ve secured some funding to help with staffing, grants aren’t guaranteed, and they don’t cover everything. There are lots of behind-the-scenes costs – things like rent, utility bills, marketing, DBS checks for volunteers, and general running expenses – that all adds up.

So, if you’d like to help keep ACS running, you can become a supporter by giving a one-off donation or regular monthly gift by clicking onto the donate button, no matter how small, it really does make a difference. How your donation helps

£5.00 a month could help to take one of our local clients to the local Lunch Club each week.

£10.00 a month for a year could cover the cost of producing our much-needed leaflets, like our popular local groups guide, that share vital information with the community.

£20.00 a month for a year could help pay for keeping the lights in the Centre, where volunteers are on hand to help with a wide range of issues.
